The Public Guardian Board publishes its first report scrutinising and reviewing the work of the Public Guardian
Today the Public Guardian Board publishes its first annual report.
'Scrutiny, review, engagement – the first annual report of the Public Guardian Board' reports on the work of the Public Guardian up to the 30th September 2008.
The review covers the following areas of the Public Guardian's work:
- The duties and activities of the Public Guardian and the OPG
- administrative duties
- supervisory duties
- engaging with customers and stakeholders
The report also includes a list of recommendations that the Public Guardian Board are required to make relating to the work of the Public Guardian.
