The OPG Agency Board
The Agency Board supports the Public Guardian in his duties. The members of the Agency Board have a balance of skills and experience appropriate to directing the business of the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).
It consists of the Heads for each of the six organisational units which make up the OPG together with the Chief Executive Officer.
The Agency Board also includes a number of non-executive members, who are not involved in the day-to-day management of the OPG.
The role of the non-executive members is to take an outside view and to support and offer constructive challenges to the OPG Agency Board across the whole range of its activities. This is to ensure that all aspects of strategy and delivery of policy are scrutinised for its effectiveness and efficiency.
